Repressed Memory Roadtrip follows 150 pages of winter driving along the east coast of the United States, retracing a route I hadn’t taken in roughly fifteen years. Most of what i’d seen was new to me, which probably only amplified the chronic déjà vu of things seen, forgotten, and half-recognized.

The trip quickly became comically haunted – Satan’s Kingdom? The Devil’s Footprint? He also has a cave here? It wasn’t the intention, but I wound up jumping curse-to-curse from Salem to burnt churches. The satanic panic hit me hard on this paranoid pathway!
